Teachers

Laverne Sessions-owner and director, began her dream of becoming a dance teacher when she was 10 years old, while attending her first dance recital.   She decided then that someday she wanted to be a dance teacher and put on recitals.   After graduating from Salmon High School, she attended Ricks College and BYU.

Juleah Davidson taught from 2004-2006 at Piner Academy of Dance in Vernal, Utah.  She graduated in dance from UVSC in 2005, where she studied Ballet, Jazz and Modern.  She received a two-year, full tuition scholarship there while performing as a member of Synergy Dance Company. Juleah has choreographed for many high schools, community plays and performing groups throughout Utah.   She has competed nation wide with both private studios and in the college arena. Winning first place at the Las Vegas Nationals with the Heart to Sole Dance Company in 2000. She enjoyed taking dance classes in New York City during the summer of 1999 with the Young Attitudes performing group. She graduated from Timpview High School in 1998. Juleah is currently teaching at Backstage Dance in Salmon, Idaho
